INTRODUCTION A number of years ago in the town of Measham, England, letters were discovered in an old Desk by a Mr Stan Wheatcroft. These Letters turned out to be from members of the Liggins Family, who had emigrated to New Zealand - four Families altogether. The earliest Letters were from Joseph Liggins and Family, who emigrated in 1884, whose Father, Luke Liggins, is my Third Great Grand Father and Stan Wheatcroft's Great Grand Father. My 'Second Cousin Twice Removed' (Stan Wheatcroft) then transcribed these Letters and created from them a Book titled 'A Letter From New Zealand'.
